Unichem Greenhithe is a NZ-based pharmacy and wellness clinic that helps customers and patients through holistic health consultations and products. They’re renowned for their kind and supportive service and passion for finding definitive health solutions.
Unichem Greenhithe’s eCommerce platform was not working as an effective sales channel and in-store the team was struggling to cope with demand. That’s when Unichem Greenhithe reached out to Mindly to help them improve the performance of their eCommerce store, expand their wellness clinic services online and create a start-to-end solution for customers online.
Discovery
With the Unichem Greenhithe team, we performed an in-depth discovery workshop where we immersed ourselves into the world of pharmacy. We began learning about their customer groups, key challenges with both the physical and digital side of the business and identifying opportunities for the new platform.
User Research
To truly make a customer-centric online pharmacy experience, we performed one-on-one interviews with customers to learn about their needs, expectations, feelings and beliefs towards finding health solutions and products online. We performed extensive quantitative research to gather data and insights around customer behaviour and preferences.
Design
Equipped with insights from research, we began ideating features and systems that would build trust, help customers find personalised health advice and create the best possible customer experience online. We then designed, tested and iterated the online platform’s information architecture, user interface prototypes and tools to improve customer experience across the board.
Development
We examined a wide range of platforms and assessed them to ensure it remains light, agile, scalable and user-friendly. We built Unichem Greenhithe’s online platform through Shopify. We helped Unichem Greenhithe upload their full 900+ range of products online and integrate it with their enterprise resource planning software (ERP).
Within the first few weeks of launching the new platform, Unichem Greenhithe saw their sales increase by 138%. The new platform has made it easier for people living in New Zealand to find a trusted online pharmacy and purchase products tailored to their health. Unichem Greenhithe has also been able to divert some of their face-to-face customers away from their physical store online and improve the efficiency of their operations.
Unichem Greenhithe has been able to help 1000s of customers and patients overcome chronic illness and pain through their pharmacy and wellness clinic. By helping Unichem Greenhithe make their products and services accessible online, we can increase the number of customers and patients health problems solved and lives changed.
